What I'm Reading This Month

I am officially buried deep into 2014 advance reads, but there are several books from this year I still plan to get to. Here are a few I will definitely be picking up this month:

 Allegiant by Veronica Roth
(on sale 10/22/13, this is book 3 in the Divergent series)

Out to Lunch by Stacey Ballis
(on sale 12/3/13, I am reading an advance copy)

Blameless by Gail Carriger
(Book 3 in The Parasol Protectorate series)

The Girls of Atomic City by Denise Kiernan

What are you reading this month?

  1. Hi Tanesha, they look like great books, looking forward to some reviews on the podcast! I just finished reading Dog on it from the Chet and Bernie mystery series by Spencer Quinn (easy read, very funny books, the dog's point of view), and started The Lost Garden: A Novel by Helen Humphreys, I'm only 25 pages in and liking it so far. Thanks for the recommendations!

  2. Just started reading Ladies' Night at the Finbar Hotel for the second time. It hasn't stood the test of time very well, or I have grown out of it. I remember loving the concept and loving the details from one story that were incorporated into another.

I am also reading the Goodbye Quilt by Susan Wiggs, which I didn't think I would enjoy, but, so far I am.

I guess I am ready for some girly fiction after a lot of blood and murder.

  3. I'm in the middle of The Fault in Our Stars. I wasn't sure I'd like it, but it is very good, a little sad.

  4. I just started "The Bronze Horseman" by Paullina Simons. It has received rave reviews on Goodreads, and was also recommended on an Outlander site. It seems pretty good so far.
