  3. Loved the doll drama! Could just feel the pain & joy. Have to correct you about Roxanne though. Although it was supposedly Colorado it was filmed entirely in British Columbia. Both beautiful places.

    1. Bahahahaha! Your American Girl story had me snorting out loud, in a very unladylike fashion. Congratulations on being published in another edition of Best Christmas Quilts!

  5. I recently resurrected a niece's doll's hair with a long soak in conditioner, and not rinsing it until it was well combed out, and probably left 1/2 in there when I did rinse it. IT was pretty amazing, wish I had taken px, but it's not an american girl doll either,

  6. Just last week I was lamenting the fact that none of my children ever developed a close love for a doll. We actually spent an entire dinner talking about it. Your dolly drama has me rethinking this and I am now thankful my children were not doll-kids. I am lucky I didn't cause a car crash, though, as I was crying tears of laughter listening to you as I was driving. Too funny.

And glad McKittyCat cleared it up about Roxanne being filmed in BC. I heard you say COlorado and I was feeling very stupid for not knowing a factoid about my own state. Roxanne was certainly a great movie.
