  1. I agree with your decision to have nothing to do with snakes. I have made similar decisions about things I don't like. You don't have to be comfortable with everything!

You and I have chatted before about Outlander. I was leery of a movie or TV series because I didn't think anyone could live up to the Jamie in my head. But the actor they have chosen comes very close, I have to say! I don't think we get Starz in Canada, though. I'll have to look into it when the time is closer.

I laughed when you talked about burning through the books the first time. That is exactly what I did too!

    Maybe it's time for a re-read...

  2. I finally picked up Outlander based on this and others we know that love it :)
Now that Starz is going to keep making series based on books I like (The White Queen), I may have to subscribe again! Darn them. Lol

  3. I read Diana Gabaldon's books many years ago. I would sit in bed and read until 2.m. or later, sleep a few hours and then myself and the kids up so we could get to daycare and work. The books were so good I just couldn't put them down. I will have to get the books again, perhaps this time on audio.

On another topic of yours - potty training. I work with 2-year old children at a child care center. When it comes to underwear accidents, if the underwear is really bad I throw out the underwear. No mother wants to wash underwear that is gross to look at or even to touch. Recently, I did have a parent that dressed her twins in Gymboree underwear. She wanted me to save the soiled underwear, so I did. The little boy no longer comes in wearing Gymboree underwear. A co-teacher compaired Gymboree underwear to Victoria Secret underwear since the garments are both cost a lot but are never seen.
