WIP Wednesday

I have big plans for May and June sewing, so I am getting myself in gear right away. First, a finish!

This is my table runner made from batik scraps and strips. I used the QAYG (quilt-as-you-go) method, and even joined the 3 blocks with a batik strip, using the seams as my batting. I'm really pleased how it blends in:

I am still plugging along on my King Spiderweb quilt and Color Affection shawl. The shawl I will definitely finish this month. A few other WIPs or things I plan to make this month are:
  • Complete 1 UFO from this pile:

  • Get started on an "I Love the 80s" quilt I've had clanging around in my head and on my sketch pad for a long time.
  • Cast on my first pair of knitted socks!
What are you working on this month?

I've linked up in these wonderful crafty places, check them out!!

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

  1. Gorgeous table runner! Love the colors!

  2. I love the runner! The colors are rich.

  3. It looks lovely, Tanesha! I really like the runner, was surprised about the pieced quilt, LOL! The colors are stunning! And a comment to your episode 17: I was glad you finally decided to give up painting the water on the lighthouse quilt with paint, but do thread painting instead :))))

  4. Love, love, love this runner!
