Mmmmm love that table!
ReplyDeleteDidn't get to listen yet but how cute are you and your hubs?? Adorable! Loving that cutting table too!
ReplyDeleteLovely couple! I loved hearing your love story. Thanks for sharing with us listeners.
ReplyDeletewhat an awesome pic! Can't wait to listen to the episode. How difficult was the table?? Can your hubby talk to my hubby, lol? My birthday is in April :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the podcast, Tanesha and for the shout out! Your story about your cute meet is a delightful valentine! Happy sewing, and have fun in VA!
ReplyDeleteOoh - what a wonderful love story. Your kids will love listening to this podcast (and actually all of them) someday. An audio diary for them. Thanks for the Valentine treat.
ReplyDeleteHi Tanesha- Re: your cutting table, we also used a pre-finished sheet of piece of melamine for the top of my new cutting table (which is bigger than yours - neener neener!). It was $35 for a 4'x8' sheet, and you can get up to 2 cuts on it at Home Depot for free. The iron-on edging is less than $10 a package.
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome couple! Love your table but just don't have the room. I am sure you are really going to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteTanesha, thank you for the shout out! I am working away and having a great time listening to you!
ReplyDeletei really like your table! have you thought of finishing it with a tape measure or yardstick? practical and could be attractive too. thanks for your podcast!
ReplyDeleteI just started listening to this episode at the gym and am so glad I have another episode to which to look forward! However, I do feel behind now. I have been away from the gym while I have been sick and that means I haven't been listening to podcasts. I agree that Carol Wool is a great addition tot he community and I look forward to great things from her. I looked at your Ruby finish again and can't believe that is Ruby! I have the fabric and your quilt makes it look more like the Flower Sugar line. I really like what you did; nice work! Not sure what I will finish this month, if anything. I know I have a quilt coming back from the quilter before April1, so there is still time. If it is large, though, I am not sure I will be able to finish the binding. I guess I had better work on quilting that quilt for my sister.
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Jaye
