WIP Wednesday

It's been awhile since I did a WIP Wednesday post, but I need to get back in the swing of things and start holding myself accountable for the ever-growing pile of projects.

Here are my spiderweb string blocks for the "slow" quilt I'm working on:

Fabric is Kona Ash and Good Fortune by Kate Spain

I am also quilting some background swirls on my "untitled/love birds" art quilt:

Add to that some knitting, sketching out some quilt ideas, and shooing children out of my sewing room, I am definitely keeping busy!

What are you working on this week?

  2. Good for you for declaring a slow quilt and not accepting the pressure we place on ourselves to get it done! I need to declare half mine slow projects and be done with it!

    1. Yes, I am trying to do that but it's starting to get to the point where I want to be done with this one too, LOL.

  3. I like the swirls in the love bird quilt. I can imagine a very warm evening breeze on the love bird qiult.
