What I'm Reading This Month

I go through spurts where it seems I am reading a book a day. Right now I am reading through a huge stack of advance reads I need to review for upcoming work-related events. So at home I am enjoying some books I have had on my shelf or in my Audible queue for awhile.

Rules of Civility by Amor Towles

Four of a Kind by Valerie Frankel

A Grown Up Kind of Pretty by Joshilyn Jackson

How to Be an American Housewife by Margaret Dilloway

What are you reading this month?

  1. I'm listening to Little Bee in the car. I just got to the beach scene and hope the rest of the book isn't as graphic, but I do like this book.

I'm listening to American Gods on my ipod at the gym. Just started it, so I have no real opinion yet.

I'm reading Project: Happily Ever After. It isn't the sort of book I'd usually chose on my own, but a friend gave it to me for Christmas, so I thought I should try it. So far, mixed reviews.

  2. "Four of a Kind" is in my stack, but I haven't started it yet.

I keep track of all the books that I read [but do not review the same.] April's list was:

    "Jiao, Sarah. The Bungalow.
    Allen, Sarah Addison. Garden Spells.
Lowe, Rob. Stories I Only Tell My Friends.
Allen, Sarah Addison. The Sugar Queen.
Tyler, Steven. Does the Noise in My Head Bother You?
Allen, Sarah Addison. The Girl who Chased the Moon.
Lancaster, Jen. If You Were Here.
Gaugenbaugh, Michael. Old House, New House.
    Davidson, Hilary. The Damage Done.
    Bolton, S.J. Awakening.
Dowell, Frances. The Secret Language of Girls.
Coburn, Jennifer. The Wife of Reilly.
    Coatsworth, Elizabeth. The Enchanted.
Burg, Bob. It’s Not About You."

+++ I recommend any of the Sarah Addison Allen books and of course, any by Off-Kilter Quilter Frances Dowell!!

    All the best.
