CGM
What a lovely podcast! I listened while quilting some slightly tedious stippling and it made the time fly. Both books sound great and I will add them to my Tanesha recommends list. Maybe Sandy's slow quilting is inspiring a lot of us to stay in "process happiness", as I too, am making a very slow quilt. Have a good, good week.
ReplyDeleteLove "Extra Yarn". I can't remember who it was, but one podcaster interviewed both the writer and illustrator of this book. I FELL IN LOVE with these two men. They are so charming on the podcast and made me want to read their book simply because of the warmth and genuine sweetness I heard in their interview. Thanks for recommending this book. In the interview, I heard that the story was spawned by one particular illustration done by the artist. The story grew out of that. I thought that was especially sweet. My Grandsons, age 2, both enjoy this book even though I do not knit.
