What I'm Reading this Month

This highly acclaimed novel has been sitting on my shelf for awhile.
The paperback is due out next month, and since it's the January pick for my book club,
I am finally going to take the time to read it.

Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult
on sale 2/28/12, I am reading an advance copy
As I've said before, I am a huge fan of Jodi Picoult's books.
I enjoyed her last one, Sing You Home, very much,
and I am looking forward to this one.

Home Front by Kristin Hannah
on sale 1/31/12, I am reading an advance copy
I haven't read many of Kristin Hannah's books, but I can say she's a
very talented writer of women's fiction, particularly relationships between families.

What are you reading this month?

  1. Just read "Left Neglected" -didn't you recommend that? Facinating book. Today, The Flower Shop. Then a cooking book, Chef on Fire.

Are you still liking the Kindle Fire? I'm thinking a bout a Nook Color, and adding Android to make it more of a tablet.

  2. Thanks for this post! I just finished book #2 in the Inspector Gamache series and am trying to avoid ploughing through the whole series at once...there aren't that many books left! I think I'll give Jodi Picoult a try--never read her, but I've enjoyed your other recommendations. I'll look forward to hearing what you think about Rachel Simon's book.

  4. Just finished my book group read for this month "The Red Tent". Interesting, different writing style but I'm not sure that I would recommend it - still pondering that.
About to start "The Hidden Child" by Camilla Lackberg and then "The Radleys" by Matt Haig. Looking forward to both.
